Do you know where your Daughter is?

 

Your last chance to see Angie Le Mar's cutting edge teenage drama, Do You Know Where you Daughter is?  at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre this weekend 23-25 July before it sets out for the Edinburgh Festival. This fast paced play explores the tensions in the relationship between a mother and daughter and the devastating consequences of peer pressure. Tickets £10

Reggie Watts

In the long-anticipated follow-up to last year's sell-out Soho Theatre run, US comedian/musician Reggie Watts brings his hugely entertaining and original new show, Why $@#! So Crazy? to the Bloomsbury Theatre from 29-31 July. Reggie's improvised sets are created on-the-spot using only his voice and a looping machine, and no two songs are ever the same. Tickets £15

Connect Associates Summer School

The Sadler's Wells annual Connect Associates Summer School is a fantastic opportunity for young people aged 13-18 to spend a week learning dance with Wayne Macgreggor|Random Dance every morning and then either Jonzi D Productions or Matthew Bourne's New Adventures in the afternoons. The event runs from 2-7 August and costs £75 per person with concessions available.

NEWS IN BRIEF

The award wining company behind Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz is looking for Young people to star in a major television drama for the BBC. On Monday 26 July from 10-2pm there is an open Cast call for both Young Actors and especially London based Sierra Leonean males aged 15-22 years old.
